David Bertrand
Does anyone not celebrate Cinco de Mayo? Is it only celebrated along the US/Mexican border? I'm in So-Cal and I plan to mix a margarita tonight, rather than the usual gin on ice. Quote Link to comment
Jeffe'
I was in Mexico (Sayulita) this week last year, and only us Gringos were partying! Had a good time, though. We'll be hitting the Margs tonight as well. Quote Link to comment

Damon Design
We'll be celebrating the battle for the Pueblo with a margarita (or two) here in San Diego. Quote Link to comment

I imagine that the gaslamp district will be a zoo. You are a San Diego Vectorworks user? Are there many others? I am retired and live in El Cajon. Quote Link to comment

Miguel Barrera
Although it is a national holiday, mexican celebration of the event is limited to parades where local schools participate. It is certainly very mild compared to the hype in the USA. It has become such a big event here that it even overshadows and often gets confused with Mexico's Independence Day which is September 16. Without a doubt, that is the greatest event in mexican culture and it is celebrated throughout the night of the 15th. Quote Link to comment
