extracting or exporting jpg symbols

We have a large number of jpg's in several Vectorworks files (version 12) and would like to extract these to enable viewing in a database. How could this be accomplished, a thorough web search has brough up zilch. Any help appreciated.

Why not just use the originals that were embedded as imports ?Jpegs are tricky cus they're 'lousy compression' and gain artifacts depending on dpi & amount of stuff , png is better if you plan on saving multiple times. Export to Image file & save as .png then back to jpg from image app.
