Ramon PG
In VW 12.0 I am seeing that door and window PIOs are not exporting at their proper rotation (as shown in the drawing) but at some default setting. Can this be confirmed? [ 01-26-2006, 10:19 AM: Message edited by: Ramon PG ] Quote Link to comment
0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Nina Ivanova Posted January 26, 2006 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 26, 2006 All the door and window PIOs have to be exported at their proper location and rotation. If you see some PIOs, which are not exporting correctly, please send the .mcd document and your export settings to me: nivanova@nemetschek.bg Thank you, Nina Ivanova Software Development Nemetschek Quote Link to comment
0 Ramon PG
Nina, thanks for the prompt reply. VW 12.0 is able to open the translated DWG v2000- 2002 but the issue occurs when I open the DWG with the PowerCADD 6 translator (since I don't use ACAD). PC6 may be at fault here, but I'll send you the DWG for your inspection and please do open it in ACAD proper. Quote Link to comment
0 Guest
Try using the "Decompose 3D Symbols and Groups" export option - sounds like PowerCADD is having trouble with them. Quote Link to comment
0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Nina Ivanova Posted January 27, 2006 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted January 27, 2006 Ramon, Thank you for the DWG and for the picture! I was able to open your DWG without problems in AutoCAD 2002 and can confirm that all the doors and windows are at their right positions and have proper rotation.
