Export to .dwg rendered viewports

I used to be able to export to .dwg rendered viewports as jpegs or similar in VW 11.5. Is that no longer possible in VW 12.0 or did I miss some setting?

You have to convert rendered viewports to groups. Then you could export to DWG.

Also, Drawing Borders in VW 12.0 converted from v11.5 do not "translate". My receipients get a generic border with "Title Line 1", Title Line 2", etc.

I'm not sure I want to start with changing all existing borders now. But, for the next project, do VW 12.0 translate OK?

Thanks for the reply. But, that means I loose the viewport or I have to duplicate it, move the copy out of the Sheet and then convert to group.

It would be nicer if the computer did that for you...

It's on the wish list.

Usually the best thing to do in such cases is to save a copy of the file, modify the copy as needed, export, then get rid of the copy.

It's too bad since I believe we lost this from v11.5.

Section viewports that are rendered export the images, because they can't export as viewports (no AutoCAD support). I don't believe anything has been lost.

I try to export a section viewport (SVP) to DWG but my ACAD receipient sees nothing but the SVP annotations. You say SVP will not export? This woulb be a terrible handicap for architects trying to send their consultants, esp structural, sections of their designs. Is there a way around this? Can the SVP be converted in any way?
