Importing DWG/DXF from Illustator to VW12

When I save a DWG or DXF in illustrator and import to VW12 the scale is not correct. No matter what settings I choose t still comes in 2' smaller that it should be. Is there a setting that I am missing or is this a result of Lost in the Translation effects that the manual talks about?

If the dimensioned size is incorrect, then the import units were incorrect. You can try adjusting the units setting, possibly using custom units. I'd need to know the size before and after in order to suggest a ratio.

The size before import is 8'-0"

The size after import is 6'-4"

Strange. Converting those to inches (96, 76), you can enter this into the import dialog using the "Custom" units setting:

76/96 DXF Units = 1"

That's a weird ratio though - you might try changing the dimension to decimal units with high precision to make sure it really is 76 inches.
