Showtechniek Posted October 2, 2003 Share Posted October 2, 2003 Hello all, I have the next problem: I have bought Vectorworks 10 and SPOTLIGHT was visible on the box. So I thought that that would be all present in the programme. Now I was trying out the programme, but I couldn't find the symbols or other appliances nowwhere that have something to do with spotlight. If I click on Help> about vectorwork. Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted October 2, 2003 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted October 2, 2003 In order to access the spotlight tools you must first switch to the Spotlight Workspace. File>Workspaces>Spotlight. The instruments are in the Object Libraries folder. You will have to load them into the resource browser if they are not there. All of the Spotlight resources are prefixed with SL-. Quote Link to comment

Guest Posted October 3, 2003 Share Posted October 3, 2003 Spotlight wasn't available until VW 10.1. You'll need to contact you local distributor to have the latest version CD shipped to you. The updates will only update what you have installed. Since VW 10.0.0 did not have the Spotlight compnent, the updates cannot update it. You will need to install the program from the installation CD containing Spotlight which is VW 10.1.0 or later. They should have informed you at the time of purchase Spotlight wasn't available until a later date. Quote Link to comment
