Adding Serial Numbers

We're running VW12 on G4 PowerMac & OS10.3.9, we have 3 copies and 3 dongles.

In preferences we can add one serial number but cannot add any more (the add button greys out). Tech support have been mysteriously silent on the issue. Can anyone help?

This is the way it is intended to behave.

When you have a dongle protected copy, the serial number matching the dongle has to be the one used by the application in order for it to work.

If you were to add multiple serial numbers, the application does not go out and find the dongle first, then associate the serial number. Instead, the application picks the first unused serial number and launches. If the number does not match the dongle, then you would get a mismatch error message.

To prevent this from happeneing, only one serial number is allowed on dongle protected copies.
