OSX move to PC

Hi,

I am about to move from OSX to PC and was wondering the best way to do this. I have mislaid my installation disk but have my dongles and serial numbers. Is their an easy way ?

You cannot install your VW Mac version on a Windows PC using the same serial number and dongle. You are sold a platform specific licence.

You'll need to contact your Vectorworks dealer. Normally cross grades are available when you upgrade only. So its going to cost you I'm afraid whatever you do.

At least you can change at upgrade time, some software insists you buy a new licence !!

alanmac correctly replied with reference to the platform specific license and the fact that you'll have to pay for the changeover. To clarify the matter, ask your VW deaer for for a 'Second Seat' price when you order your PC license and you should recieve a discount.

An update on the situation.

I understand from Sean (CEO of NNA) that as of VW12 this will now come as a cross platform install. You can install this on Windows or Apple using the supplied dongle and serial number. Good news for anybody wanting to change platforms.

Funnily enough I'm looking to go in the other direction, Windows to Mac, although I use Mac at work, I want to get Mac at home instead of Windows.
