XP installation and Dongle problem

NickGD

Question

I have a problem with the installation of Landmark 11.0.1.I get the error message ?An I/O error occurred while installing a file. This is normally caused by bad installation media or a corrupt installation file?. A second error message appears stating that there is a corrupt installation file. If I abort the installation continues and I receive the message that installation is complete.

When I try to open Vectorworks I am asked for up-to-date dongle drivers to be installed.

I have noted on the Forum that other people have had a similar problem with the dongle. Are these two issues related or have I got fault on the installation disk?

If I require a new installation disk does anyone know what the progress has been made on resolving the dongle driver problem.

My PC operates with Windows XP Home, AMD Athlon 64 3400+ processor and 512MB of RAM.
