i read the forum and recognized that there are several topics about the demo mode problem but couldn't find a solution to my special problem.
so here's the situation:
i want to install vw10.5.0 on a windows xp based platform. the dongle is plugged into the parallel port of another computer on the network (also windows xp).
vw is already installed on other computers and works fine. unfortunately it wasn't me who did the installation and i can't contact the person responsible for that.
my problem:
whenever i launch the install programm of the cd, vw wants to install the demo mode because it couldn't find the dongle. i don't figure out why that is because it works fine on the other machines.
