Scott Reynolds
When I upgraded a drawing to V11 from 10.5 I can't use the Site Model. The menu is grayed out and say "Site Model....rsr not in plugins directory. Do I need to do something special for installation? Quote Link to comment
0 Guest
Did you copy your workspace from VW 10 and put it in the VW 11 workspaces folder? Quote Link to comment
0 Scott Reynolds
Yes I did. Was that a no-no? Or do I need to do more? My workspace changes didn't have anything to do with the Site Model parts of the program. Scott Quote Link to comment
0 Guest
It's a no-no. The problem is that between major versions of VW, alot of the tools and menus change. When these changes are made, your workspace reference doesn't have the new information - resulting in the error you get. If you go through every tool and menu item, you'll find that error message alot. The best thing to do between major versions is to rebuild your workspace in the newer version. Within a version, the workspaces get updated in the update process, so it's fine to do it then. Quote Link to comment
