pedro Posted October 22, 2002 Share Posted October 22, 2002 i downloaded the VW 9.5.3 update and i get the error message " An unexpected error occured while installing 'vectorworks'. 1008:17,-4" has this happened before? i followed the instuctions... turned off all the other apps, left the browser on... do i need to be running osX.2 before i update VW? appreciate the time. pedro Quote Link to comment
0 Kurt Magness Posted October 22, 2002 Share Posted October 22, 2002 I used the 9.5.3 updater and it ran very quickly and said it insatalled correctly. I then check it in the about vectorworks menu and saw that it did not update. this happen to me when i used the 9.5.2 updater. tech support said to reinstall vectorworks run it once and then run the updater which i did and then it worked fine. so i guess i will do the same with the 9.5.3 updater and see if that helps. kind of a pain but waiting around for tech support took two days. installing vwks again took about 15 minutes.
