VW 8.5.1 not compatable with MacOS 9.2.2

After upgrading from MacOS 9.2.1 to 9.2.2 VW 8.5.1 will not open . You get en error massage: "The application "VectorWorks 8.5.1" could not be opened because an unexpected error occured (-2,817). As soon as I reinstalled MacOS 9.2.1 the problem solved and everthing works fine again.

(Luckily I had the sytem folder backed -up before upgrading to 9.2.2)

The error is probably related to the version of QuickTime you have installed. VW 8.x requires QD 3D to be installed. QuickTime 5 (which may have been updated when you updated to OS 9.2.2) does not include this component by typical installation. You will need to reinstall QuickTime 5. You can download QT 5 from apple.com. When installing QT, select the CUSTOM installation. At the next dialog screen it should allow you to specify the components you wish to install. Select all the components and proceed with the installation. After restsarting the computer with OS 9.2.2, the program should launch sucessfully.
