What Printer ?

ixplorer

Question

Pretending I don't have my crappy parallel HP1125c ...

What printer do you suggest that is bloody fab... works with both Mac and PC, networkable, fast, doesn't cost a fortune, nor does toner.

Size wise... A3 is fine A2 would be great... no larger is needed.

Any ideas ? I had figured I could stick two pages together for A2, but ... that will depend on the A2 options and their cost. I'de be ok with A3.

Cheers in advance,

Why don't you do a search on this board for printer recommendations.

As you can tell, I'd be inclined to recommend Epson's 4800. But I'm not quite sure what is considered a "fortune". I know that time wasted waiting or servicing is our largest consideration.

Good luck,

Take a look, might be of help.

Alternatively if you want a direct replacement for the 1125 I think HP do one called a 1280 now, but depends were you are located.

Don't think its networkable, (was the 1125?) but depending on your set up you can print across the network so long as "host" machine is on.

I do so with my old HP1220.
