raydraws
I have just sent a Vectorworks file, saved as a PDF to an outside printer via email. I was dissapointed with the print returned to me in regards to line weights. Thin lines 0.2mm and less looked more like 0.3mm, all other line thickness and shading were ok. Is this a problem with PDF or perhaps the printer? Any ideas please - thanks Ray Quote Link to comment

0 mike m oz
Try changing the dpi settings to 300 dpi for both: - Document Preferences / Resolution / Pict export and Printing - Sheet Layers Quote Link to comment

0 mike m oz
RB- my apologies. That was an issue with OSX 10.2.x Save to postscript file. Double clocking on the postscript file will open it with Preview, and convert the file to a PDF file. You can then save this PDF file. PS: it is a problem with the crap PDF that Apple included in earlier versions of OSX. If you can upgrade to Tiger. [ 03-22-2006, 10:54 PM: Message edited by: mike m oz ] Quote Link to comment
