hong
Does anyone use still this printer with VW12 on Mac? Is so, how does it work? Quote Link to comment
0 Travis
I've had a 4M for nearly 20 years and it's still our primary laser printer. It's a true post script printer, so as long as your fonts are correct (they need to be TrueType for VW anyway) you'll get exactly what you see on screen. We don't very often print drawings on letter or legal size, but they've been fine: scale is true; grays and fine lines come through as expected. Good luck, Quote Link to comment
0 david c.
I have two 4MVs and really haven't had any issues with them. They're the oldest printers in our office and at least one of them is used several times daily. For VW12 output, it's still very good. Quote Link to comment
0 bonus
The same goes for me. No problems whatsoever. The 4MV runs and runs and seems to be pefectly happy with all upgradings, both VW12, macOS10.4 and macG5. Still the best printer despite three new (also 2 HP) other printers in our office. So, take good care of it. Quote Link to comment
