printing to PDF

Question

You need to use Page Setup to establish your drawing size. Then go into VW>Page>Set Print Area. Select one page and your proper page size should be shown. In the diagram, only one box should be highlighted. If more than one box is highlighted, then try draging the box out and back into the upper left.

You most likely have letter size setup now and Acrobat is dividing up your drawing into letter size pieces.

Howdy, I'm new to this rodeo.

I cannot plot my Vectorworks (11.0.1) files to PDF (v. 7.0) without getting the drawing to tile into hundreds of pieces.

I'm on a Mac (system 10.3.9), and, in this case, using large drawings (32" x 40"). I've set the print area to that size, and created that size under "page setup", but it still tiles everything out . . . and the tile size itself is strange, some default value that I don't know how to change.

I've had the same problem with 24" x 36" Drawings. And, for what it may be worth, I've been using Vworks/Minicad for twelve years.

Any assistance will be much appreciated, even if you just point me to where someone already resolved this.

Happy New Year
