Which Printer?

Not had much respose on my last messages but I thought I would give it ago again.

Sent the HP2800 back as HP nor NNA could not resovle the problem - blue instead of brown and brown instead of blue - not too godd for timber and glass!

Thinking of getting the Canon i9950 but would really like to know if it is fully compatible with VW / RW?

You would think NNA would have a list of printers that are tried and tested as being fuly compatible with VW / RW?

As you can see from my "signature", we've had excellent success with Epson's printers. I'm very impressed with their new x800 line. Tho not the fastest pure plotters (by far), they're very versatile; the image quality is second to none; and the consummables are reasonable. The clincher, however, for us has been our local EpsonPRO dealer. They've had an answer within hours for the few problems that have come up.

Sorry, have no experience with Canon.

The Canon i9950 did not have a big enough capacity tray so I am thinking of HP again either the 1280 or 70. Do I stick with a low cost A3 or high cost A2? Either way I can not get any pre-sales assurance that they will work with Vectorworks / Renderworks.

Got the HP 1280 in the end an it works fine.

I must admit that I was disappointed that I had no feedback from NNA or HP on which printers would be compatible.
