750c and Tiger

Does anyone have information on the difference between stting up my HP750c on Panther and setting it up on Tiger? We just purchased Tiger transfered everything from panther and cannot get the plotter to work. We used the same information (although the driver set-up is alittle stranger) and the print dialog says the Network host '192.168.0.2' is busy; will retry in 30 seconds...." The plotter is the only thing on the network.Any information would be helpful, Thanks

I've used 750C+'s successfully with tiger using the 755CM driver from HP.

Network host '192.168.0.2' is busy; will retry in 30 seconds...." is a TCP/IP config for a Local Server not for an Enet Card. If you're sending the plot files to the server then the Server sends the print files to the plotter.

Ed. I think youre right about that. I thought I set this up just the same as it was in Panther. I dont have a printer server. The plotter is connected thru the eithernet. It looks like thing just keep getting worse. I can't seem to find the right settings for this.

Thanks Kevin, I think it helped a little at least now it says its spooling. Then (print Dialog)the it just goes blank when it reaches 100%. Slow progress?

I solved the problem. I needed to change the protocol to LPR. Working Again!
