Waste paper after plotting.

Ben Clayton

Question

I am using a Designjet 1055CM Plus plotter, with VW11.5 (PC), after a number of prints have been sent to the plotter at A1, I start to receive an additional A0 sheet from the plotter after every sucessful print, with the text:-

"ERROR: undefined

OFFENDING COMMAND:

STACK:"

The plotter says that an error has occured and press enter to continue flushing the job.

Any advice with regard to this would be helpful!

Cheers

Ben

The most common cause of these Postscript errors is a small setting on your studio computer that is easy to fix. Here's how to do it:

1. Go to the Start menu, choose Settings, and choose Printers.

Right-click on "Your Plotter" and choose Properties.

2. Click once on the Device Settings tab.

3.Scroll down until you see "Send Ctrl-D after each job".

Change this setting to No.

4. Click OK.
