Printing proofs

Question

We have all of our drawings (arch D) set for the plotter. we print out proofs (tabloid) using a desk jet. To print proofs we need to go to page set-up and change the page size and reduce the drawing to fit (50%). It has become time consuming to print these pages and return to page set-up to make every thing normal again. If one of us forgets to change back then we waste more time. Is there an easier way to print out a set than to change every page back and forth. Anyone?

You can very easily create a duplicate set of sheets, copy viewports onto them and just keep these scaled to half-size. Rather than reduce in the print window I would consider using the VP to reset the scale. If you put your scale marker in the VP annotations you can even have it read accurately. Plus you can add any special notes that might be specific to one set or the other.
