I have three 3D viewports of the project site. Each one is using a different Heliodon so that we can review where sun and shade are at three different times of day.
I have an issue with one Heliodon and it occurs both in design space and in the viewport. While it is rendering, I can see the sun and shadows on the site. When rendering is complete. The whole view has a gray overcast. There is no sunny or shady areas at all. As soon as I do anything to reactivate Render, I can see the sun and shade areas again.
Is this a Graphics issue? A Heliodon issue? A Rendering issue?
