Board and Batten texture

Does anybody have a nice board and batten texture? Ideally off-black with fine wood grain or smooth. Ideally with displacement mapping. Ideally 400 mm / 16" centres.

Nothing particularly suitable in the VW library.

mtextur have a good selection (File > Import > Import mtextur...) but probably not that width of board.

While searching what a "board and batten" texture might look like, I found this Canadian compony Lightbeams.

(Which scans real Materials from producers and creates PBR Textures and such services. Similar to MTextures ?)

For the cost of an eMail Address you can download these for various Apps.

 

 

Unfortunately not VW or C4D.
(But you can with for support ....)

 

 

 

 

I think it looks interesting.
Has anyone already any experience with these ?

I came across that too. You can click on the "Select maps manually" option (at the top of your screenshot) and download the relevant resources for VW. But I found that they didn't look as good as mtextur's textures.

At a first glance everything looks extremely good/stylish, also their demo images. PBR and tile-able.

 

But I also found overall the material sphere previews look a but flat and plasticky.
(Besides that lots of the offered Materials are indeed artificial fake materials)
