Vectorworks open in the browser instead of in the APP

Hi I am a new user of Vectorwork. I installed a licensed 2026 a couple of weeks ago. Due to get the phasing option I updated to version 4. Ever since I have issues with opening it. I have reinstalled it a couple of times but still it goes to the browser. Could you please help me with this?

By "Browser" do you mean the Home Screen?
Showing the Home Screen on startup is a Vectorworks preference.

To change the setting open Tools->Vectorworks Preferences->Session->Display Home Screen on startup.

Hi, thank you for your response. By Browser, I mean Chrome Browser. It seems like Vectorwork clouds is opening but I want to work with the application on my laptop not online.

I'm having the same problem was there a fix to this without the app opening? I can't get to Tools->Vectorworks Preferences->Session->Display without it opening

UPDATE: Quick fix for me was disconnect from the internet open VW and reconnect.
