Norbert Vadocz Posted March 18 Share Posted March 18 Hi everyone, I’m looking for some help with a specific task. As you can see in the attached image, it’s about a railing element. I solved the handrail (path) using a custom 3D body, but as the photo shows, it doesn’t work correctly on the inclined sections. I’d like to automate this process, but I’m not sure if it’s possible within the Railing tool itself. I’ve started experimenting with Marionette. I can stretch the element vertically by manually entering values, but I lack experience and I’m stuck on the automation part. The staircase spans 5 floors with different floor heights, meaning the slope angles vary as well. I’m curious to hear your thoughts or any entirely different approaches if you think my initial logic is not feasible. Thanks in advance for your time! Norbert Geländer.vwx Quote Link to comment
