Pedroea
In Vectorworks Landmark, how can I create a library of hardscape types (e.g., pavers in different sizes, gravel, concrete, etc.) with a cost per square metre so that I can generate a material schedule showing quantities and total costs? Ideally, each hardscape type in the library would also include: - a preview image or reference image - a hatch or tile graphic to make the surface easier to recognise in plans while designing. Is it possible to include all of this within Hardscape Styles so that the information and graphics are reusable across projects? Thank you very much Pedro Quote Link to comment
Gran Mathias
Yes, you can apply it directly to the styles. For the 2D graphics, its a good idea to control that by Class "makes it easy to update everything at once if you change it up with color, hatch, tile,." For the 3D color or texture of the styles, you apply that to each section of the style, each layer, like the gravel, dirt, pavement, etc Styles you create will copy everything it depends on if you copy from one file to another, its really nice. In a worksheet "Database" you can call the function for the hardscape unit-price and multiply it by the Area. Its really easy Quote Link to comment
