Freelance Vectorworks Drafter – Residential Permit Sets

Hi everyone,

 

I run a small residential firm in California focused primarily on permit drawings for residential additions, ADUs, and remodels.

 

I’m looking for a Vectorworks drafter to assist with production drafting for permit sets on a freelance basis. The work is remote and project-based, with potential for ongoing collaboration.

 

Typical work includes:

 

• Building permit drawing sheets from provided layouts

• Drafting floor plans, elevations, and sections

• Implementing redlines and revisions

• Updating drawings for plan check corrections

• Organizing sheets for permit submission

 

This role is production focused, not conceptual design.

 

Requirements:

 

• Strong proficiency in Vectorworks

• Experience producing residential permit drawings

• Ability to follow redlines and drafting standards
