HP SesignJet 1050C windows

Question

V10.5, plotting to an HP DesignJet 1050C, from WXP (with the latest driver):

Two drawing sheets in one file. Very simple drawing (2MB). The command is to print both sheets:

None of the VW boxed options are checked in the print dialog box.

The first sheet prints as it should.

The second one prints with text with black background, and funny text colors, and text doesn't autorotate.

When VW is closed and restarted, the file prints correctly. This seems to indicate a VW, and not a printer problem. Is this a bug? Anyone else have this problem?

I sent the file to NNA as requested.

since then I have plotted a new, different file, again small and uncomplicated, with the same result - text prints with black background and funny colors.

Tried raylibby's fix and found it to work.

The problem is there on any file for me. I just did a print to file (WinXP, Designjet 430) for repro desk and it did the same.

OK... got it.

I had the same problem with my ploting service.

Install HP DesignJet 650C - C2859B driver and plot to it. it will create *.plt file.

now, they use HP 1050 but with this driver the printed file was WUSIWUG !!!

filled polygons, text on symbols... etc.

try it. [smile]

Eric,

The offices have been closed from Dec 25 through yesterday (jan 1). A response may be a few days behind because of the build up between the days the company was closed.

If the information was sent to BugSubmit as suggested, it will be looked into and buglisted if it is duplicatable.
