epson 7600

I have vectorwrks 10 architect and a mac G4 runnning system 10.2.3 and am considering purchasing an epson 7600. I owned a 7500 but was disappointed by not being able to run it in system 10 (epson did not have system drivers for it) and also the lack of longevity with the print heads. Any opinions on the 7600 regarding these issues?

i have a 9600 and it prints fine in OSX using the supplied epson non post script driver. I was told of "problems" epson has had with the 7500 & 9500 machines but they say the 7600 & 9600 machines are improved and do not have those issues ( print head problems, ink longevity, etc). Vwks seems to print fine without any problems. Output is incredible. i can see where you would be hesitant if you spent the money fo a 7500, but the 7600 is a different machine The cheapest HP with pigmented inks is the 5000 which is 14,000 dollars +/-
