Plotting .plt & .pdg

Question

I'm on a mac using both Spotlight 9.5 and 10. My local blueprint place said it can only plot or print .plt ot .pdg files. Is there a way to save or export my file to this?

Thanks

You can create a PS file on a Mac using a PS printer driver.

Either os 9 or os 10.

OS 10 allows you to create a ps file or a PDF file.

OS 9 only allows you to create a PDF file if you have a PDF creation software installed.

Windows allows you to create a plt file with a non-ps printer (Print to File in the print dialog box). You can also create a PS file using a post script printer (again, print to file in the print dialog box).

Creating a PDF file on Windows can only be done using a PDF creation software such as Adobe Distiller.

I don't know how well it works, but you can open a pdf file with GraphicConverter and save it as a .plt (or .hpgl) file. Might as well give it a try...
