bruce johansen Posted March 26, 2003 Share Posted March 26, 2003 Since i can't access the light info records of any lamp in the OIP data pane,( or can i ?) the only way i have found is by the book :to choose the symbol in the resource browser, make it active and choose edit. Once i'm in the edit window i have to deselect the object in the window and the info should be in the data pane of the OIP. well!!!!! -if the object in the edit window was not selected, i should have it -but if the object was selected i have to deselect it, reselect and deselect to get the info? is it something i don't understand ? Once you are in the edit symbol window, deselect all. The data should show in the data pane of the OIP. If the object is already deselected when the edit widow opens, the information should automatically be displayed in the data pane of the OIP. bruce johansen Posted March 26, 2003 Author Share Posted March 26, 2003 os 9.2.2 on G4 tower at 933mhz, 512meg. ram with vw sl 10.1.0 yes, sometimes it happens as you describe it. And at other times, it's as i have described it. It happens my way when i have just imported the thing and edited it for the first time. if i have edited it before , i can't reproduce the behavior i have describe and it behaves like you say.
