Printing to Adobe Acrobat 5.0

Okay, so I did a search on the boards and found a lot of people with problems dealing with printing from Vectorworks 9.5 to Adobe Acrobat 5.0 on windows XP machines, but i could not find a definitive answer to the problem.

As stated, I am trying to print a 24x36 inch file to Acrobat distiller... it think i am doing everything right, but it shows up in the .pdf file with the actual data from vectorworks shifted half off the left hand side of the page. Also, absolutly no text appears in the file.

Anyone have any solutions to this problem? I am trying to assemble a portfolio and am quite desperate for an answer to this problem.

What windows OS are you using?

Are you using adobe 6 or 601 ?

I am using Acrobat 6.0 on win XP pro

Where are you setting the DPI at?

The DPI in Distiller is set to 300 as well as the print DPI in VW.

I also just upgraded to Acrobat 6.0.1 with no help I?m sorry to say.

I just tried to print a drawing with just one big simple square, same off center result.

I just looked at Tanya J.?s comments. It turns out I was changing the dpi in the Adobe PDF Settings tab but not the Paper/Quality ? Advanced tab. Now that I have changed the dpi in the correct place, all is right with the world.
