I sometimes use a Slab object to model floor finishes. In practice this means having to manually trace the Slab object around all walls and through door ways. Or having to manually clip the slabs using slab modifiers. So it would be great if we could auto clip Slab objects with walls/wall components.
Another example would be modelling ceilings with Slab objects. Although these are currently easier to model because you don't have to deal with door ways; you can simply use the bucket mode and bind the Slabs to the walls of each room.
The difficulty with using Slab objects for floor finishes is that they need to flow through the doorways (and typically under the door jamb/frame). Another way would be to bind the floor finish slabs to each room and then use add surface to add to the door ways, but then you end up with the line in the door way between each room. And modifiers just suck to use because it's not obvious to other users that you've used them, and they also unrotate the view when editing them.
