Our office uses both full size plots (HP 500ps) and half size prints (Minolta QMS 2060 and Canon iR 2200). Is there a way to change the lineweights throughout a drawing, depending on what printer/scale that I am using?
Example: On a 1/4" plot my full height walls are plotted with a 26. On a 1/8" 11x17, the same walls would read as solid black. I would want to have some sort of option to apportion certain lineweights.
We are a bi-platform firm; we use the plot styles table (.ctb files) on AutoCAD to control this issue.
I guess there's a (painful) way to set up a template with workgroup references to override the class attributes. All props to Brian O's suggestion for class colors

I just have this odd rumbling there's an easier, well-hidden way.
Thanks again,
