Urgent problem

i have VW 9.5.1 running under winxp and a canon s9000 printer. I have a document that i need to print but only 244 bytes are transferred and i get 'a required resource was unavailable' message box, VW promptly crashes. Printer is correctly installed as other apps print fine (photoshop, Word and windows test page all printed fine). Thing is, other VW documents are OK with printing (they just print excessively slow, i mean one doc took an HOUR to print once on A3- that is NOT right). please help, i have a project i need to hand in..........

What version of the OS is this? What version of the driver?

I will do what I can to reproduce the problem here, but we need this info first.

version of windows: windows XP pro - build no. 2600.xpclnt_qfe.010827-1803 (info from winver)

the print driver is version 1.50GB; it's the one that came with the printer on CD.

Ok, the first thing to try is the updated version of the print dirver. According to Canon, 1.52 is the most recent, you can download it Here

Once you have installed that, give the printer another try.

ok.. thanks i'll try that. i didn't think there was an updated driver for it as it's a new model. ah well, thanks for the heads up.
