Data Tag_Hanging Position Field

Hi VWs, I am trying to add a field to a data tag that shows me the length of a Hanging Position, with no luck.

 

Would someone have 5 min to show me this, thanks in advance.

 

I have attached a file with this data tag if this helps.

The Hanging Position object doesn't have a length field, and you're actually looking for the aggregated length of the truss items contained in the position.

You could use the Width worksheet formula, as long as the position remains aligned horizontally.

 

I'll also shamelessly plug Savvy Position Label, which in addition to the label objects, provides worksheet formulae that you can use with data tags.

This is an incredible resource for those needing to extract data in data tags and worksheets.  While it works specifically with rigging objects, with only a  little effort, the info can be extrapolated to almost anything.
