360 resolution on Epson SP 1290

I have just upgraded to Vectorworks/Renderworks 9 on OS X from Minicad 7.03 OS 9.2; I have an Epson Stylusphoto 1290 printer and I have downloaded the software to run it with OS X. When I print, fine lines are thick, arc segmented and ugly I think the problem is in the Page set up; when I want to change the resolution from 72 dpi to 360, 360 isn't there to choose.

Have you double checked to make sure the correct printer is selected when you are specifying the dpi. You could have a different printer selected which is preventing you from the 360dpi setting.

Also make sure you have that printer available for printing by trying to print in another OS 10 application.
