kwik
Hi I have a Curb-object that is a steel-curb made from a 10 x 200 mm steel profile. The curb has Site Modifiers at the top of the profile's backside, and 100 mm below the top on the frontside. The Curb is following a road that is curving, made with the Path Site Modifier. There seems to be a conflict between the Curb-object's built-in-Site Modifiers and the Path Site Modifier, so the Site model on the back side of the Curb is not following the top in the curve of the road. It connects to the elevations of the Path in some places, resulting in a surface that is not correct, see circled area below. In the zoomed in window you can see that the site modifier is "inside" the curb, even though the curb is drawn exactly on top of the curve of the Path, due to the arc is divided into straight lines in 3D, I guess. The Site Modifiers for the Curb is not showing in Top/Plan view. If I offset my Path by 10 mm, the surface is fine, but that offset is not really what I want. Is there a way I can make the Curb Tool "in charge" of the situation here? Path Site Modifier with offset 10 mm: Edited November 4 by kwik 1 Quote Link to comment
Fred_TheRustle
Have you tried to lower your simplification tolerance on your modifier? I think by default it's set on 25. I usually set mine on 5. Quote Link to comment

Yes, I have tried different things with the Simplifikation tolerance, from 0 to 10 to 25 mm, but in eery case, I get conflicts. Maybe @Katarina Ollikainen have any input? Quote Link to comment
