Could we please see improvements to the basic text editor in Vectorworks?
It would be extremely helpful to have a richer text editing environment with features such as:
Support for text hierarchy (titles, subtitles, headings)
Bullet and numbered lists
Paragraph alignment and spacing controls
Indentation and tabulation options
Basic text styles (bold, italic, underline)
Adjustable line height and paragraph spacing
Consistent text style management (linked to styles, similar to class attributes)
Option for text wrapping and margin control within text boxes
Improved handling of multi-column or tabular text layouts
At present, the text editor feels quite limited for producing structured notes or annotations. Many of us integrate written content directly within drawings — for example, to explain design intent, outline specifications, etc.
Having access to even simple document-style formatting tools would make it much easier to create well-organized, visually clear layouts.
