Handling Referenced Images with Marionette

Hi!  I'm trying to batch rename and relink a large set of referenced images in a vectorworks file.  We do the same basic interior layouts with accompanying images placed directly on the design layer, but they change slightly with each project cycle.  Because they're referenced objects, it doesn't appear to work with the Batch Rename function, and even if it did I don't think it would address the linked file path.  

 

Essentially, I'm trying to run a marionette network or script to change a reference path from

 

C://User/Documents/Projects 2024/SampleImage_1_2024.jpg to

 

C://User/Documents/Projects 2025/SampleImage_1_2025.jpg

 

and have it relink the new image from the new file path.  Is this possible?  Thank you for your help!

Can you give a tiny sample file and 1 or 2 images that you reference in so I have a starting point to look into this rather than coming up with my own?
Either attaching to this post or sending in a DM would work.
