Issues updating to VW25 7

I cannot get beyond the update install manager running immediately to "wrapping things up", disappearing and not invoking starting the actual update VW app.

Are you 1) invoking the Check for Update from inside Vw, or 2) are you using the Vw Install Manager app located in your Vw application folder? If #1, quit Vw and try doing the update with the Vw Install Manager. It’s worth a shot.

Invoking the Install Manager from the dock (Mac) or from the Application Folder with VW off results in the same actions. For a brief instant the Update VW screen pops up and then is immediately covered by the Install Manager screen (I've even been able to click on the "Next" button in the bottom corner of the Update VW screen before it is covered by the Install Manager screen to try to override the update Install Manager)

Maybe try downloading a new Vw Installation Manager from your Customer Portal downloads archive page:

https://customers.vectorworks.net/downloads/archive

 

Then delete the old / broken one, unzip the new one and drag the new one into your Vw application folder. Just guessing…
