JohnVmac
I am wondering if anyone has had a problem when trying to print a 3D bolt from Vectorworks? I am using a 1/2 in Bolt from the Tool set "Fasteners". The thread is going the wrong direction. They are also very tight and seems like their is no way to edit the object. I exported a STL to Bambu Lab studio. The slicer had no issues with the file. I realized when I compared to a metal bolt that the thread is going the opposite direction. I am using a Bambu Lab P1S printer. Any suggestions on how to fix this please pass them on.. Thanks in advance, John Quote Link to comment
rDesign
I have never tried 3D printing so I cannot comment on that part of your question -- but I just tried the Fastener Tool (3D): Screw and Nut (Inch)-3D in Vw2025 and it looks like the threads are going in the correct direction = 'righty tighty'. Maybe you mirrored the bolt? Edited August 18 by rDesign Quote Link to comment
