JB Nation
Hello, ive created some racks in 3D andcl placed some equipments. Then i selected the racks and created a rack elevation. All seems ok. However i try to add a rack ruler the racks its way too big and not scaled. There is setting to scale. Is there spmething im doing wrong? Quote Link to comment
Thomas K.
Hi @JB Nation go back to your design layer an activate a rack. In the object info pallet there is a check box for the rack ruler. hope that helps. 1 Quote Link to comment

JB Nation
i have another question, i have imported an external vector file ... DWG or sketchup file. in my design layer, is all fine and well vectorised. how can i export or publish it to PDF wfile keeping his "Vector " properties? thank you Quote Link to comment
Thomas K.
Check if your content is really vector-based Zoom in very close on your drawing: if the lines stay sharp (not pixelated), it’s vector data. If you imported a 3D model (e.g., SketchUp), some views may display as raster images. To get vectors, you need to use a Hidden Line or Wireframe view Create a Sheet Layer Go to View → Create Sheet Layer (or in the Navigation palette: New Sheet Layer). Place a Viewport from your design layer onto this sheet layer. Important: In the viewport’s Render settings, choose Wireframe or Hidden Line. Other render modes (e.g., OpenGL/Renderworks) will rasterize the drawing and won’t export as vectors. Export to PDF with vector options Go to File → Export → Export PDF… In the dialog: Check “Export as Vectors” (very important!) If you have raster images in the drawing (textures, renderings), enable “Rasterize Images” so they are embedded alongside vectors. Set Resolution high if you’re including any raster elements Rendered views (OpenGL, Renderworks, Shaded) are always rasterized → no vector export. 2D plans and Hidden Line views keep vector properties intact. For 3D models, create section viewports or hidden-line viewports to generate clean vector output 1 Quote Link to comment
