Site Model - Existing/Proposed Visibility

Recommended Posts

I feel like this functionality has flip-flopped over the course of Vectorworks site modeling, but we need resolution in the current v2025 and what we're seeing for the Site Model Existing + Proposed 2D visibility.

What is currently happening is that the PROPOSED contours extend beyond the Grade Limits...overlapping with the existing contours.

What SHOULD happen is that the PROPOSED contours should be limited to within Grade Limits, and ONLY the existing contours should be visible outside the Grade Limits.

The same issue in 2026.

First picture from project done with 2024V

Second picture 2026V - mixed result  (I am playing with site model for training purposes)

There does not appear to be anything wrong in your second image, presuming the blue line is your grading limits.  It looks like you simply have both the existing and proposed contours showing, which is an option.

Yes indeed 🙂 I used proposed+existing 2D display, but if you take a closer look: yellow marked area contours show up correctly, however blue marked area proposed contours overlap existing contours
