Tanya J.
I'm new to Vscript. Is there a way for Vscript to record what you do on the computer, so you can start your script from that? Quote Link to comment
Guest
No, you cannot record keystrokes but there is a way to get a VectorScript description of a drawing. Draw several objects and then choose the "Export / Export VectorScript..." off the "File" menu. This will write a text file that contains a script that will re-create your drawing when executed. You can cut-and-paste from this file into another script to help you begin a script. Hope this helps, Jeff Quote Link to comment
Tanya J.
Thanks, this first script I'm trying, I want to retreive the angle value in the data display bar, and have the user input in the length value. Does the data bar have a name in VS? Quote Link to comment
