tbexon
Apologies if i'm missing something super obvious. But is is there a way to update the visibility of a class across multiple viewport styles at the same time? For unstyled viewports I would just do this from the class organisation visibilities window, however if I try and edit a class visibility for a viewport where it's a referenced one, It won't let me change it, so I have to manually go and edit each viewport style individually (which can get quite dull). Hopefully i'm just missing something glaring obvious! Quote Link to comment
markdd
When you create the Viewport Style, just make sure that Class Visibilities are set to By Instance. That should then allow you to use the Visibilities section of the Organization Palette on every viewport. Quote Link to comment
tbexon
Thanks! So if I wanted to keep classes by style within the viewport (to allow me to update the look of multiple viewports at once) I can't use the organisation visibilities dialog to mass change the visibilities of all classes? Am I right in thinking that if the class vis in a viewport style is set to By Instance, then any changes I make to the class vis after I have applied the viewport style to a viewport wouldn't track through?
