TiTaNiuM sAMuRai
"Object Creation failed due to Invalid Parameters" actually, the thing drew okay, but I then got this message and the PIO reverted. What gives? Quote Link to comment
Guest
I think you get this error message if one or more of the parameters does not have a default value specified for it. The defaults should not be blank. Is this a plug-in object that you are developing yourself, or one that we ship? If it is yours, then go back into "Create Plug-in" dialog and check the parametes. TiTaNiuM sAMuRai
It's one that I made from scratch. Of the five I've made, it's the first with this problem. All fields have been given defaults. Quote Link to comment
Fuge
look for a typo in one of your fields, such as a space before or after the deflault value. Quote Link to comment
TiTaNiuM sAMuRai
It shows up only when I change one of the fields in the OIP, yet DOES draw correctly before popping up the message. I'm thinking it's something to do with synchronizing the record and the fields... somehow... Quote Link to comment
TiTaNiuM sAMuRai
Does the message refer to one of the user parameters, or to a parameter in a function call within the code? Quote Link to comment
Alexandre Villares
It refers to the PIO parameter defaults as set at the Organise>Create Plug-in...>Parameters... panel. Quote Link to comment
