Change Cablepath/Cableroute Layerchange Icon

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm wondering if it's possible to change or define the small icon/symbol that appears when a cable route crosses multiple design layers.

Thanks in advance!

Florian

@FKA at the time we were planning this feature there was some debate about how to visualise this. The way people show vertical paths between layers will vary across the world so it would be great if you could post here the icon you would like so we can include it in content when we develop this feature.

@Conrad PreenSounds great! The symbol is fine, but I’d prefer it to be a bit bigger.
In an older project (before this feature was implemented), I created it manually using this symbol.
But I’m not picky—anything that’s a bit more visible than the current icon would work for me 😉

Hello Conrad,

I hope it is ok if I place an idea here. According to EN 60617, the following symbols are used a lot in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We supplement the symbols “cable upwards” or “cable downwards” with height information in relation to the storey height.

Thank you very much and have a nice day.

Best Thomas
