We might want to create some metal box drawings using script to calculate various dims, and hardware. Don_dup2 Posted August 16, 2002 Share Posted August 16, 2002 Please excuse my previous post. I hit the wrong key. What I wanted to say was, can you see a way to use VW for sheet metal design. At present I use an obsolete pc program (Metalman) and DXF it into VW. It takes care of the bend allowances, but you can only work with one part at a time. When it gets into VW, you can't render it because it isn't a surface just a wire frame. It would be great if VW could be used for sheet metal. Don Quote Link to comment
