P Retondo
I installed my Vectorworks 2025, and Enscape does not show up in the tool palettes. Does anyone know how to migrate Enscape from VW2024 to VW2025? And what about assets? Quote Link to comment
Ross Harris
Run the Enscape installer and it will put the plug in file into the VW2025 folder. As assets are part of the a VW file when used, they will work as before in an upgraded file. 1 Quote Link to comment
P Retondo
Thanks, Ross, a couple of questions though. First, will this render Enscape unusable in my previous version 2024? And second, I have a lot of third-party “custom” assets, only a portion of which I have used in files. Is there any problem accessing those, or do I have to reload those again - a long and tedious process? You may not use Enscape that way, so you might not know the answer to that question, but if you do, it would be very helpful to know. Quote Link to comment
Ross Harris
Hi Pete - It should retain the existing file paths to where your custom assets are stored - I don't have any so I'm not 100% on this. In the Custom Assets tab of the asset manager, you can point it to the right folder if it goes back to a default setting. It seems to work for the offline library - I have this set up on another drive to avoid bloating my main OS drive. Quote Link to comment
Ross Harris
Forgot to mention.. the Enscape installer will put the plug in into every supported version and any other supported software if finds installed on your computer. Quote Link to comment
